Our shorty briefs are made from a beautifully soft modal fabric with a gentle stretch of up to 5 cm, so they fit closest to the measurements below.
✅ Step 1: Measure around your child's waist where they like their underwear to sit. A soft tape measure works best, or use a piece of string and measure it against a ruler.
✅ Step 2: Find their measurement in the Fits waist column below. Go by the measurement rather than age.
✅ Step 3: Check the Back rise for coverage, especially for taller kids or kids with a fuller bottom.
| Size | Fits waist | Back rise | Approx. age |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4–6 | up to 52 cm | 14 cm (5.5") | 4–6 |
| 7–9 | 53–57 cm | 15 cm (6") | 7–9 |
| 10–12 | 58–63 cm | 16.5 cm (6.5") | 10–12 |
| 12–14 | 64–68 cm | 18 cm (7") | 12–14 |
Back rise is measured flat, from the top of the waistband to the crotch seam at the back. To check coverage, lay a pair of your child's current underwear that covers well flat, measure the same way and compare.
