Matching Christmas Pyjamas for the Whole Family, Including Kids and Teens
In 2025, we launched matching Christmas pyjamas for the whole family, and they were gone almost as fast as the last mince pie on Christmas Eve. Little kids, grown-ups, and yes, even teenagers, who are famously hard to impress. (Spoiler: they wore them.)
This year, thanks to your very loud demand, our sensory-friendly Christmas Collection is back with two new prints, and we couldn’t be happier about it. We’re hoping it becomes more than a sell-out. We’re hoping it becomes a tradition, for us and for your family too.
Here’s the story behind it, and how to choose pyjamas for teens and the rest of the family, including the teenager who insists they’re “too old for this.”
Why Did We Bring Back the Christmas Collection?
Honestly? You asked, and it meant the world to us. Politely at first, then a little less politely, then in a flurry of lovely messages that went something like “PLEASE do it again.” The 2025 collection sold quickly, and we hated that so many of you missed out.
But the real reason is bigger than demand. A tradition isn’t made in one year. It grows when something keeps coming back, until your family looks forward to it as much as the crooked Christmas tree. We’d love these pyjamas to be part of your family’s Christmas, year after year.
What Stayed With Us After Last Year?
It wasn’t the sales. I know that’s a funny thing for a business owner to say, but it’s true. What stayed with me was watching families join a Christmas tradition they had quietly missed out on for a long time.
For many households, especially those with sensory-sensitive kids and teens, matching pyjamas were a tradition that happened to other people. Itchy tags, scratchy seams, a child who refused to wear them, and the photo moment came and went. Last year, families told us that everyone finally made it into the picture, and felt comfortable doing it. I still think about it often.
Who Designed Christmas Wonder?
My daughter did. A tradition for other families, created by someone in my own. I’m so proud of her, and I couldn’t have written that plot if I tried.

Meet the New Christmas Collection
Two new, traditional Christmas prints, calm enough to feel cosy and fun enough to feel festive. Each comes in matching sets for adults and kids, with sizes that work for teens too, so everyone can join in. The pieces within a print coordinate, so you can match exactly or mix the cuts.
Gingerbread Kisses

A little Christmas sweetness, a lot of comfort. This is the cosy, sweet-treat print for anyone who wants their pyjamas to feel like a warm kitchen on Christmas Eve, minus the washing up.
-
Kids Nightdress: Gingerbread Kisses, sizes 6 to 16
-
Kids Short Set: Gingerbread Kisses, sizes 4 to 16
-
Adult Short Set: Gingerbread Kisses, sizes S to 3XL
Christmas Wonder

Soft, festive and made for Christmas Eve films, slow mornings and lounging around in the heat. Designed by my daughter, for families who treat the whole day as one long, comfortable stretch (with a brief intermission for pudding).
-
Kids Nightdress: Christmas Wonder, sizes 6 to 16
-
Kids Short Set: Christmas Wonder, sizes 4 to 16
-
Adult Short Set: Christmas Wonder, sizes S to 3XL
The adult short sets come with a round-neck tee, mid-length shorts and hidden side pockets. Yes, pockets. Grown-ups get genuinely emotional about them.
What Makes Pyjamas for Teens Comfortable?
Teens notice discomfort just as much as little kids do. They just complain about it with more eye-rolling. For sensory-sensitive teens, the small details matter more than the print. Every set in the collection is built on the same basics:
-
Soft bamboo fabric with a gentle stretch
-
Tag-free, so nothing scratchy at the neck
-
Flat seams, so no bumpy ridges rubbing against skin
-
A soft, flat waistband on the adult sets that won’t roll or dig in
-
Stretchy, flexible fabric that moves with you instead of restricting you
None of it is flashy. It just means the pyjamas get worn long after the photo, which is exactly what you want from a tradition.
Do Teens Still Wear Matching Christmas Pyjamas?
They do, with conditions. Most teens don’t hate the idea of family pyjamas. They hate feeling babyish, being ordered around, or wearing something that itches like a wool jumper in January.
Fix those three things and matching Christmas pyjamas become a low-effort tradition instead of an annual standoff. Pyjamas for teens work best when they’re calm, comfortable and a little bit fun. That’s how Jess and her family do it too: relaxed, cosy and happily matched, no drama required.

What Size Are Pyjamas for Teens?
Teens sit neatly between our two ranges. Kids’ sizes go up to 16 and the adult short sets start at S, so most will fit in one or the other. (Teenagers love to grow overnight, so a little room helps.)
-
Size 16 in the kids’ nightdress has a height guide of 165 cm
-
Size 16 in the kids’ short set has a chest measurement of 102 cm, and the adult S tee is the same at 102 cm
-
All measurements are garment measurements, not body measurements, so compare them to a piece that already fits well
-
Between sizes? Go smaller for a closer fit or larger for a relaxed feel
The bamboo is stretchy and forgiving. Still unsure? Check our kids’ size guide and adult size guide, or take the Find Your Fit quiz. Our kids and teens sensory pyjamas range has more to browse.
Can Teens and Adults Wear the Same Christmas Print?
Absolutely, and it’s the heart of the whole idea. Both prints come in kids’ and adult versions, so a teen at the top of the kids’ size range and a parent can wear the same print.
Pick one print for the household and let everyone choose their cut. The family looks like a team in the photos. A team with snacks.
How Do You Start a Matching Christmas Pyjama Tradition?
Keep it simple enough to repeat next year. A few things that help:
Pick a night and stick to it. Christmas Eve is the classic. Do it on the same night every year and it becomes a tradition without anyone calling it one.
Let everyone choose. Gingerbread Kisses or Christmas Wonder, nightdress or short set. A real choice beats a cheerful announcement, especially with teenagers.
Wash them first. Our sets are pre-shrunk, but washing before the first wear (avoid high heat) means a favourite is soft and broken in by Christmas Eve.
Take one photo, not forty. Teens can smell a long photoshoot from three rooms away. One good shot, possibly mid-eye-roll, is plenty.

Keep it calm. The point is that nobody fights the fabric. If someone isn’t feeling it, let them join for the movie instead.
What Are the Best Pyjamas for Teens in a Hot Australian Christmas?
Christmas in Australia lands in the middle of summer, so heavy flannel is a hard no. Short sets and nightdresses are the sensible picks, and bamboo is breathable with natural stretch, so it stays comfortable on warm nights.
That makes them perfect for the whole house, teens included: sleeping, lounging through the long afternoon after lunch, and the inevitable horizontal rest on the couch. You know the one.
How Do You Buy Matching Pyjamas for the Whole Family?
Start with each person, not the print. Decide who wants a nightdress, who wants a short set and who needs which size, then choose a print for the household.
Everything you need is in our new Christmas Collection, in kids’ and adult sizes. Last year’s collection sold out fast, so we’d gently suggest not waiting.

Here’s to Many More Christmases Together
The best family traditions aren’t the ones that look perfect in a photo. They’re the ones where everyone is in the room, everyone feels included, and nobody asks to get changed by 9pm.

Whether it’s toddlers, teens or grown-ups, that’s what we hope the Christmas Collection becomes for you: a small, soft, slightly silly ritual your family looks forward to every year. If it ends up in the photo albums a decade from now, even better. Thank you for making last year so special, and for welcoming us into your Christmas again.
Do you have a family Christmas tradition we should steal? Tell us in the comments, and tag the teenager who has announced they’re too old for matching pyjamas. We’re not promising they’ll love it. We’re promising they’ll wear it.
