NDIS
NDIS & Sensory-Friendly Clothing
At Comfort on the Spectrum, we design sensory-friendly clothing and socks to support individuals with sensory sensitivities, setting our products apart from regular everyday clothing.
We modify each item with ultra-soft bamboo fabric and remove tags, zippers, buttons, and scratchy seams to ensure maximum comfort. Our designs are simple, breathable, and soothing—helping individuals with disability, Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), or other sensitivities feel comfortable and supported all day long.
NDIS Funding & Eligibility
Adaptive and modified clothing is an approved item under the NDIS Support Category: Assistive Products for Personal Care and Safety. This means our sensory-friendly products may be purchased using NDIS funding.

Important Information for NDIS Orders
🔹 NDIS Participant Responsibility: Before proceeding with an NDIS claim, please ensure you are an approved NDIS participant with allocated funds.
🔹 Purchase & Plan Funding: As a product-based business, we are unable to determine how a purchase aligns with each participant’s individual plan and disability. However, due to the low-cost and low-risk nature of our products, assessments or reports from allied health professionals are generally not required.
🔹 Order Holding Period:
- Items ordered will be held for 7 days while awaiting payment from your Plan Manager.
- After this period, if payment has not been received, the items will become available for other customers and may sell out.
- If this occurs, we will contact you to arrange an alternative solution.
🔹 Postage & Handling Fee: A flat rate of $20.00 - $25.00 per order applies for postage and handling.
🔹 Refund & Exchange Policy for NDIS Purchases:
- Refunds are not available for NDIS-funded purchases unless pre-approved by the plan manager.
- Exchanges (within our exchange guidelines) and store credit are available as alternative options.
