Made from a thoughtfully developed bamboo-cotton blend with added stretch, the Midnight colourway features a soft brushed interior that provides warmth without feeling heavy or restrictive. It’s breathable, flexible, and gentle on sensitive skin.

Not eco-friendly as promoted

FYI: Your clothing is promoted as environmentally friendly, but Spandex (also known as elastane) is not considered a sustainable fabric. It is a synthetic material derived from petroleum, a non-renewable resource, and its production involves environmentally harmful chemicals and processes. Additionally, spandex is not biodegradable and is difficult to recycle.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review — although reviews are typically reserved for those who have actually purchased our products. That said, I’d like to provide some important context, as your comment reflects a narrow view of sustainability and overlooks key facts.

FYI - While it’s true that Spandex (or elastane) is a synthetic fibre and not biodegradable, this does not mean our clothing is not environmentally conscious. Our garments are made primarily from bamboo — a renewable, low-impact fabric that requires no pesticides, uses significantly less water than cotton, and is known for its softness, breathability, and comfort for sensitive skin.

We include a very small amount of spandex (around 5%) in our fabric blends to ensure stretch, shape retention, and longevity. Without this, the clothing would lose its fit quickly and need replacing more often — which leads to more waste. Designing long-lasting, durable pieces is a key part of our sustainable approach.

To label our brand as “not eco-friendly” based solely on the presence of spandex overlooks the broader picture. We make our products in small batches, work with ethical production partners, and focus on quality over fast fashion — all important steps in reducing environmental impact.

COTS clothing has been our life saver!

We have two AuDHD/ PDA boys and clothing has ALWAYS been a sensory challenge for us. Like MANY other families we spent a fortune trying different clothes, shorts, t-shirts etc they would wear and they wouldn't even put them on!! I discovered COTS through seeking out soft bamboo clothing. The boys BOTH love the fabric, seams and no tags. They are willing to try and wear any COTS clothing now- we have tshirts, short sets, just got long pjs, long tshirt and the hoodie for winter. I loved the brand and was so grateful the kids liked it as there was a whole range (would love undies though please) that has the same features, is cut the same way and the same fabric so it is easy to go between summer and winter clothing without much sensory disturbance.

My daughter loves it so much, she won’t take it off!
It’s so soft, so comfortable, warm and lightweight.
Fits beautifully. The option for chewy tubes has been a game changer for us - the stim aid we didn’t realise we needed. Sleeve thumb holes are perfection and one of her favourite parts of the hoodie.

Good buy

My son loves the feel of this, just as he does all your other clothing. I was excited and clicked straight away to buy when I saw you advertised this was available with free chewy tubes. I was disappointed that we didn’t get the chewys, when I went back on I saw you had to scroll further down to choose the option for free chewys. It would be great if you made a warmer version as the material is more like thick t-shirt material and isn’t very suitable to cold weather.
