What fabric is your sensory-friendly clothing made from?

Our sensory-friendly clothing is made from 95% bamboo and 5% spandex. This premium fabric is exceptionally soft, breathable, and stretchy, providing all-day comfort while moving gently with the body.

Is the fabric suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. Our fabric is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, meaning it has been independently tested and confirmed to be free from harmful levels of substances. It is safe for direct contact with skin, including sensitive and sensory-aware individuals.

Why do you use bamboo fabric?

We chose bamboo because it is incredibly soft, breathable, and moisture-wicking. It helps regulate body temperature, feels gentle against the skin, and has a smooth finish that many people with sensory sensitivities find more comfortable than traditional fabrics.

Can your clothing be worn all year round?

Yes. Bamboo is naturally breathable and helps regulate body temperature, making it comfortable to wear throughout the year. It helps keep you cool in warmer weather while remaining cosy and comfortable in cooler temperatures.

Is the fabric chemically processed?

Like most modern textiles, bamboo fibres go through a manufacturing process before being made into fabric. Our OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified fabric has been tested and confirmed to be free from harmful levels of substances, making it safe for everyday wear.

Do you recommend washing before wear?

Yes. As with all clothing, we recommend washing your garment before first wear. This helps soften the fabric even further and ensures it's fresh and ready to wear.

Does bamboo clothing shrink?

Our garments are pre-shrunk to minimise shrinkage. To help maintain their softness, shape, and longevity, we recommend following the care instructions on the garment label and avoiding high heat when washing or drying.

Will the fabric stretch with movement?

Yes. The added spandex provides gentle stretch, allowing the fabric to move comfortably with the body while helping garments retain their shape after washing and everyday wear.

Australia: Free shipping on orders over $180. Orders under $180: $10 Standard or $15 Express.
New Zealand: Free shipping on orders over $200. Orders under $200: $20 flat rate.
International: Shipping is charged at a flat rate based on parcel weight and calculated automatically at checkout.

I really like the waist band. Sometimes I struggle with the thicker elastic on the shorts or lounge pants, so the thinner elastic is great.

The only clothes my daughter will wear now

Very soft fabric. The only issue I would raise is the sizing is a bit strange. The leggings are very long but also tight around the waist so you can't go down a size.

We love these leggings ! When you hang them to dry they dry so fast, and they are so buttery soft, no seams and plenty of stretch. With washing they never loose their colour.
