What fabric is your sensory-friendly clothing made from?

Our sensory-friendly clothing is made from 95% bamboo and 5% spandex. This premium fabric is exceptionally soft, breathable, and stretchy, providing all-day comfort while moving gently with the body.

Is the fabric suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. Our fabric is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, meaning it has been independently tested and confirmed to be free from harmful levels of substances. It is safe for direct contact with skin, including sensitive and sensory-aware individuals.

Why do you use bamboo fabric?

We chose bamboo because it is incredibly soft, breathable, and moisture-wicking. It helps regulate body temperature, feels gentle against the skin, and has a smooth finish that many people with sensory sensitivities find more comfortable than traditional fabrics.

Can your clothing be worn all year round?

Yes. Bamboo is naturally breathable and helps regulate body temperature, making it comfortable to wear throughout the year. It helps keep you cool in warmer weather while remaining cosy and comfortable in cooler temperatures.

Is the fabric chemically processed?

Like most modern textiles, bamboo fibres go through a manufacturing process before being made into fabric. Our OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified fabric has been tested and confirmed to be free from harmful levels of substances, making it safe for everyday wear.

Do you recommend washing before wear?

Yes. As with all clothing, we recommend washing your garment before first wear. This helps soften the fabric even further and ensures it's fresh and ready to wear.

Does bamboo clothing shrink?

Our garments are pre-shrunk to minimise shrinkage. To help maintain their softness, shape, and longevity, we recommend following the care instructions on the garment label and avoiding high heat when washing or drying.

Will the fabric stretch with movement?

Yes. The added spandex provides gentle stretch, allowing the fabric to move comfortably with the body while helping garments retain their shape after washing and everyday wear.

Amazing and life changing

Our daughter suffers from debilitating sensory processing disorder. Clothing being the main source of complete discomfort (sometimes pain).
We haven’t had a single issue since trying these sets. The fabric is so soft, the stitching is flat and doesn’t annoy, but best of all there’s no tags, embellishments, frills, buttons, printing, etc. my daughter only wear long sleeve and long pants, even in the dead of summer. These are light weight and breathable fabric, she won’t overheat in the QLD heat.
All this means my daughter can wear them with ease, meeting all her sensory requirements (and there is a lot). She literally wears no other clothing now. Her entire wardrobe is the long set 100% of the time. I cannot recommend enough. We have tried every sensory clothing available over 7 years. This is the ONLY thing that’s worked 100%.

My son finds most clothing itchy and uncomfortable but he loves these sets. He also loves to stretch his clothes over his body and they get damaged so quickly from him doing it all day, but he’s been wearing these sets for a while now and they are still perfect. I just need to order a few more sets because he doesn’t want to wear anything else now!

Great eczema pyjamas- so soft!

I bought these for my daughter with eczema (after searching for bamboo or soft natural pyjamas for tweens). They are so lovely and soft. Only downside is the sizing was difficult when ordering. The size chart showed her hips as a 14 but her top was showing as an 8. I ordered the 14 to be safe - the pants are not far off being as snug as leggings and the top can be worn like a nightie (which she doesn’t mind).

Everything we’ve purchased has been loved over the last few weeks that he has been wearing them.The fabric is deliciously soft and so light. It is perfect for our South QLD climate. The fabric is also perfect for layering in cooler weather. The long set will be perfect for our travel days (both in the car and flying) as it is not at all restrictive or tight feeling, just comfy and cosy. The staff were wonderfully helpful in helping us process the order through NDIS too. Will definitely purchase again in future.
